Queen Vashti refused to come and the king got mad. Since she did not come they decided to tell all the women and she was was no longer Queen. 1Kings 1: 28-53_When things in your world get confused, how do you know God is still in control.?

In today's reading: King David Bathsheba to him and swore he would make Solomon king. Bathsheba paid homage to King David. King David told Zadok, Nathan, and Benaiah to have Solomon ride on his own mule and take him to Gihon and have him anointed by Zadok and Nathan. Then Solomon will come and sit oh his throne and be king in his place.(rule over Isreal and Judah) They did exactly this, and all the people played flutes and rejoiced. Adonijah was afraid of Solomon now; so he arose and took hold of the horns of the altar. Solomon said that if he proves himself a worthy man, he shall not die. I still know God is in control, because he knows everything and when it's going to happen. God is awesome. He wants the best, and obviously if it didnt go my way, then it wasnt ment to be different.

The child died on the 7th day, and David's servants were afraid to tell him. When he found out, he arose from the ground, washed and anointed himself, and changed his clothes and went into the house of the Lord and worshiped. He finally ate. His servants said while the child was living, you wept, now he is dead and you arose and ate food. David told them, while he was living I begged for him to live. Now he is gone, and I can't bring him back. When I am asking for God's forgiveness, I fell good, because he always forgives me. And he loves me no matter what I do.

Week 1/ Tuesday

Tues. 1 Samuel 28: 1-25 Saul and the Occult:  What kinds of things could be considered “occult practices”? How would God feel about your involvement in such things?
After Samuel died, Saul stopped all mediums in Isreal. Saul set out for a woman who was a medium. The woman was told to bring Samuel up. When she did, Saul questioned why the Philistines were against him.Samuel told them that the Lord had done for them and Saul refused to eat.
