1Kings 1: 28-53_When things in your world get confused, how do you know God is still in control.?
In today's reading: King David Bathsheba to him and swore he would make Solomon king. Bathsheba paid homage to King David. King David told Zadok, Nathan, and Benaiah to have Solomon ride on his own mule and take him to Gihon and have him anointed by Zadok and Nathan. Then Solomon will come and sit oh his throne and be king in his place.(rule over Isreal and Judah) They did exactly this, and all the people played flutes and rejoiced. Adonijah was afraid of Solomon now; so he arose and took hold of the horns of the altar. Solomon said that if he proves himself a worthy man, he shall not die. I still know God is in control, because he knows everything and when it's going to happen. God is awesome. He wants the best, and obviously if it didnt go my way, then it wasnt ment to be different.

1Kings 1: 5-27_What happens when you don't make good decions.?
In today's reading: Adonijah said he would be kind. So he prepared chariots, horsemen, and 50 men to run before him. He sacraficed sheep, oxen, and fattened cattle by the stone of Zoheleth. Adonijah became kings and David didn't know. Bathsheba visited the king. He told the king that he said Solomon would reign after him, but Adonijah has become king. When I don't make good decision, I end up in a big mess.

Week 2/ Friday
Fri. 2 Samuel 18: 1-18 The Death of Absalom
In what situations are you most likely to lose controlDavid had given jobs to the people that were with him. He gave them jobs such as being commander of thousands and commanders of hundreds. The men said you must not send us out if we are forced to flee and that they wouldn't care about us. Abasalom had to face David's men. In the end they killed Absalom. I am most like to lose control when I don't get what I want.

How do you deal with family conflict?
Joab knew the king loved Abasalom. They told this woman specific instructions to go and tell the king. She told the king everything that was going on with her. He said go home and I will issue your behalf. I deal with my family conflict by talking it over. I also pray about it. Over time it gets better.

Week 2/ Tuesday
David told Nathan that he sinned against the Lord. Nathan told David that God put his sin away and he wont die, but his child will die. God made his child ill. David begged to God and layed all night on the ground. The elders tried to get him off the ground, but he wouldn't and neither would he eat. The child died on the 7th day, and David's servants were afraid to tell him. When he found out, he arose from the ground, washed and anointed himself, and changed his clothes and went into the house of the Lord and worshiped. He finally ate. His servants said while the child was living, you wept, now he is dead and you arose and ate food. David told them, while he was living I begged for him to live. Now he is gone, and I can't bring him back. When I am asking for God's forgiveness, I fell good, because he always forgives me. And he loves me no matter what I do.
Week 2/ Monday
Mon. 2 Samuel 12: 1-12 David and Nathan
Which of your friends love you enough to correct you?Nathan rebuked David. The Lord sent Nathan to David and said they are one rich and one poor. The rich man had much and the poor man had nothing. His best friend was his sheep that he bought. They burned his sheep and ate him. David said whoever did this will surely die. My true friend would be Ashley, because she corrects me when I talk to my family the wrong way.
